Reveal is the latest commission from the Museum of Cornish Life
This project is the beginnings of a much larger scale production and engagement programme for a future work calledNOT MINE.
Reveal will be a live performance taking over the Museum itself with a live dance performance accompanied by a live original violin score and a promenade curtain raiser created with and performed by the local secondary school.
The focus of the work will be driven by the core essence of the building and what it holds, not just in its display cabinets but deeper in its foundations, together with compiling and weaving of local stories (gathered by show & tell mornings), both historical and those of everyday. Seeking out tales and whispers that tilt on the side of curiosity and intrigue. Respectably side stepping the Cornish postcard approach and revealing a deeper insight into what makes Cornwall Cornish today.
To The Moon and Back.(a grant from Experience Newquay to take place Nov 2024) Will offer a unique and immersive artistic experience that doesn’t hold the formality of live performance but the same rules as a gallery, public garden or a festvial. What makes my practice specific to The Moon and Back project impactful is its ability to transform forgotten or historical spaces into high quality immersive storytelling environments. Co-creating with professional performers, designers and composers as well as welcoming in community to influences and participation in the process and performances themselves .

“Moving Portraits" was a commissioned project by Filament in Sep/Oct 2023 as part of Wide Open Cultural Development Fund (CDF2). This large-scale work took place across Paignton's high street, transforming abandoned structures, shop front windows, tattoo studios and theatre spaces, into immersive worlds. Live performance, documentary film projections inside and outside of buildings, as well as light and sound installations all had their place as audiences followed a trail of the seen and unseen sides of Paignton.
